*This is a short Intensive booster course*
Most exams take place in September just as children enter Year 6. Some exams depending on which school you re applying for takes place in January. For the year 6 students we offer crash courses in the summer holiday which consists of Mock exams, practice past papers and diagnosing areas of improvement. We diagnose areas of improvement but not at great detail, as they have joined too late and therefore depend a lot on parents to put a lot of input at home. We aim to guide students and parents toward the areas of development to prepare them for the September exams. Those who are taking exams in January have a better chance as there is some time to look deeper into these areas

What is the 11+ exam?
The 11+ is a test taken by some Year 6 pupils in primary schools in England. It’s a way of selecting who’s academically suited to attend a grammar school or selective school / independent school for Year 7 onwards, and is sometimes also known as the ‘Entrance exam’ or ‘Transfer Test’.
As Wales and Scotland no longer have grammar schools, the 11+ is only taken in certain parts of England.
